No Baby yet

Last week Monday (Nov. 28th) Bett’s doctor told her we should be having our baby any day. As of yesterday (Thursday, Dec 8th), she told us that it could possibly be a week or more. So the waiting begins. We’re hoping it comes earlier rather than later, but we will just have to wait and see. Maybe you ALL will get to see the baby still in the hospital.

I’ve got an interview

So, on Thursday at 10:30am CT, I will be interviewing at Northwestern College for the position of interrim Technical Director and Designer in their theatre department. I’m excited and nervous about this position as it would mean that maybe God does actually want me in the theatre world after all. It’ll force me to once again re-evaluate my goals and plans for life.

So keep me in your prayers on Thursday.

UPDATE: The interview went quite well. I was there for about an hour and a half. Dr. Rainbow told me that he thought we would work quite well together, but that he wished I had designed about 15 more shows. (Yeah…me too.) He’s interviewing a couple more guys, so we’ll see. But at this point, it looks like I’m still in the running. Yippee!

UPDATE #2: I heard back today (12/13) and did not get the position. He has, however, asked if I would be interested in designing lights for one of the productions.
