LA Update

So, I’ve officially decided to stay in LA.  I turned down the job at NWC and have committed to staying out here for a while.  Now I just have to find a job and a place to live.  It was a tough decision, but then I started thinking about it logically.  I enjoy both jobs, so it wouldn’t matter which one I chose.  I like living in LA better than MSP.  If I took the job at NWC, it may not lead anywhere, and the next logical step would be to apply to grad school.  I would like to go to grad school, but then I realized that my application would be stronger with the jobs in the film/tv industry that it would be with the job at NWC.  The jobs in LA would also provide an ongoing stream of possibilities (even until retirement), so it seems that logically, this is the place God wants me to be.  Additionally, I’ve really missed it out here, and I’ve wanted to move back for some time now.  Now, I am.  And while I’m nervous and somewhat worried about my future, I feel as if I’m on the right path.  ~ James
