Merry Christmas

I thought someone should get this blog thing going again.  This is the first entry in December, and it’s already the 24th.  I just wanted to say Merry Christmas and we wish we could be with you.  Hope you all enjoy the celebrations.  We’ll put up photos in a few days, so be sure to check with our blog often.  We hope to keep busy during the vacation.

Let’s see…what’s new?  We got a couch and chair cover custom made and they were delivered yesterday.  They look fabulous, and for only $80!  We’ll take a picture later.   I spent the last two days on the couch, near a bathroom, with some nasty stomach thing.  The first morning I was in the bathroom about every 30 minutes (diarrhea).  Not fun, but I’m feeling better today and hoping to enjoy a good lunch tomorrow.  I’m playing flute in church with the worship team this morning.  I hope to do it every couple of weeks.  I bombed out on shopping for James this year.  I truly can find very little that he wants (for the next 2 years, or would take back with him)…except for things that he needs to choose.  So we’ll go shopping the day after Christmas.  But most of our Christmas money will go toward traveling this year.  We leave for Brazil just after midnight on New Year’s Eve, so we’ll spend that celebration in the airport!  Oh well.
